The 4th Decade
1. By 2008 the team had changed a bit more with other locals joining the “family” these included Kerri Tierney (now Palmer), Luke Dabin and Nathan Hart. They were excellent contributors to our organisation.

2. In 2009 – Leader Computers – an Australian owned Computer and component distributor was engaged as an important technology partner. They remain today as our primary supplier of Computers, Laptops, Network, Wifi and other technology equipment.

3. We were also awarded a Marketing prize from the Office National group in September 2008 for our local promotional TV adverts we had produced and had broadcast over the previous 12 -18 months. Another local, Brendan Forde guided and taught us a lot about marketing and promotion during this time.

4. By 2010 more showroom space was needed. We moved the workshop back further and opened up the entire space that was the Mut Mut Hut. We now were able to display not only the broad range of product we were stocking but also the large volume of this range we had available to fulfil larger customer orders first time.

March 2014 – We Upgraded to an even more advanced ERP management software. This is another massive investment of approximately $60,000. This time it is more integrated into the Office National Data, so we get Product updates automatically. It also links to our Website, so product information, pricing and stock levels are updated in real time. Customer orders automatically flow straight into our systems for the Customer service team to review and process for delivery. We are also managing all our service jobs and detailed Machine history included in this software.
6. In January of 2016 – Jacob was a shy young man straight out of High School joined our customer service team. Jacob learned to talk to people, answer questions on the shop floor, his confidence grew, and so did his ability to learn about new products and be able to explain them to customers. Jacob is still a key member of the team in our Technical department now – where is analytical brain serves him well when servicing and maintaining, Copiers, Printers and Computers and his customer service experiences helps him explain to our clients.

7. June 2016 – Geoff- has his final day working in the business. He has spent 40 years serving the people of Young providing Office supplies, Furniture and the technology of times to Young, the surrounding towns and regions.

The evolution of this team showcases the importance of adaptability in business. Each new addition or change, like the partnership with Leader Computers, seems to enhance operational efficiency and customer service. The transition to an advanced ERP system is particularly noteworthy, given how it streamlines processes, much like the integration of Bitstarz into gaming platforms enhances user experience. Long-term planning appears essential here.
The narrative presents a clear timeline of organizational growth and development, emphasizing key milestones and personnel changes. The introduction of new technology like Royal Reels ERP management software illustrates a significant shift towards integration and efficiency in operations. However, it raises questions about ongoing adaptation to changing market demands, especially in customer service and product offerings.
